For those on the front lines of emergency response, DuPont™ has developed the single-layer Tychem ThermoPro Suit, a garment that protects first responders against the dual hazards of flash fires and toxic industrial chemicals. The Tychem ThermoPro combines the inherent flame resistance of DuPont’s Nomex® fabric with the chemical resistance of Tychem to create a single-layer fabric that is lightweight, durable and easy to wear.

Nomex component won’t melt or drip when exposed to flame, so it increases escape time from flash fires, and its flame resistance will not wash out or wear away, remaining effective for the life of the garment.
Tychem component delivers permeation protection against a broad range of toxic industrial chemicals and chemical warfare agents.
Tychem ThermoPro Suit is engineered to provide liquid splash protection in accordance with the NFPA 1992 Standard on Liquid Splash-Protective Ensembles and Clothing for Hazardous Materials Emergencies.
Tests have proven that it will provide at least one hour of breakthrough protection against most of the 21 ASTM F1001 chemicals.
Suit features a zipper front with Velcro® double storm flaps, a respirator-fit drawstring hood, and elastic at the wrists and ankles.
Also available with attached boots and boot flaps.
